1/4 cup butter
3 cloves garlic
1 1/2 pounds Cremini mushrooms
1 onion
Salt and pepper
1 cup red wine
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon thyme
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Brown mushrooms / melt butter and brown garlic and sauté onions. Stir in wine and bring to a boil reduce to a simmer and reduce for five minutes. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream and thyme. Whisk cornstarch and water and add until thickened to liking and season.
