Pizza dough

PORTIONS: 2 MEDIUM PIZZAS

1 cup whole wheat flour (optional)
3 cups bread flour plus more for kneading
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1 3/4 cup warm water
1 1/2 tbsp active dry yeast

Add the yeast and water together and proof for 5 minutes

Meanwhile, combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Add the water mixture and the dry ingredients together. Then add the olive oil.

Knead until smooth and elastic and until it no longer sticks to your hands or the table.

Let rise until doubled, punch down, cut in half, and allow it to rise again while you prepare the pizza toppings.

Shape your dough and add your toppings. Bake in a 500 degree oven on a pizza stone until the crust is golden brown
