3.5 tbl unsalted butter
450g cherries
3/4 cup plain flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 vanilla bean
200 ml milk
4 large eggs
Icing sugar for dusting
Preheat oven 200c
Grease round cake pan. Arrange cherries in the pan . In large bowl which together flour, sugar, salt and vanilla. Then add milk and eggs one at a time. Add melted butter and mix to a smooth batter. Pour batter over cherries. Bake 15 min. Lower to 180c. Until if fed up and lightly browned about 30 minutes. Let cool for an hour. Just before serve sprinkle with icing sugar.
