Ingredients:
8 chicken thighs with skin
3 lg onions
1 sm bell pepper
16 oz chicken broth or stock
1 tsp sugar (if needed)
Nana's seasoning
Veg oil

Directions:
1. Pat chicken dry then season (med) with Nana's seasoning
2. In a heavy pot with lid, heat up to two Tbsp of veg oil & brown chicken well on both sides (1 tsp sugar helps brown chicken)
3. Remove chicken then add 1/3 of onions and all of bell pepper
4. Cook down and rub bottom of pot to get the grimee's of the bottom which browns the gravy
5. Add 1/2 chicken broth; add chicken with skin side up to smother the chicken with the remaining onions then bring to boil; then cover and cook on medium for 45 min

*add broth as needed
*season to taste
*great over white rice
